1. September xxxx to December xxxx: At first, I plan to further study the evolutionary structural optimization method based on isogeometric analysis. Based on this, I intend to extend the model to the application in the thermo-mechanical problem.
2. January xxxx to May xxxx: I intend to write code to achieve the thermo-mechanical optimization problem. This stage includes structure analysis and sensitivity analysis.

Prof. xx is a famous scientist, leader and pioneer in structural optimization. He is also the founder of the Evolutionary Structural Optimization (ESO), one of the most widely used methods. Lots of widely used basic research beased on the research of Prof. xx and his partner. The evolutionary structural optimization has been successfully applied in a variety of areas, such as architecture design and material design etc. Now Prof. Xie is Fellow of Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering and the director of the Centre for Innovative Structures and Materials (CISM). He has led conducted many significant projects in the area of structural optimization research, such as Design of bracing systems for high-rise buildings, Topology optimization of material microstructure and Optimisation of building structures using CFD-BESO etc.
7.回国后工作/学习计划THE STUDY/WORK PLAN AFTER RETURNING TO CHINA: With a report form concluding all my research work that I will have done in the University of Surrey, I intend to combine all the work with my research in my domestic university in my final doctoral paper.
